Al Quds University and Station J
30-11-2021, Jerusalem – Al- Quds University and Station J signed a memorandum of understanding highlighting their new partnership. The memorandum of understanding will unify the efforts of providing Jerusalemite youths with advanced programs that includes highly demanded 21st century skills in the areas of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity, as well as equipping the youth with qualifications and competences that will enable them to get recruited within the civil society organizations and non-governmental organizations and mastering their jobs. Both programs will play a major role in strengthening their capacity and reduce the unemployment rate in the long-term and eventually increase their resilience in Jerusalem.
This MOU will be expanding the horizons in supporting the continuation of the two programs, where the first program will last around two years purposely to teach youth how to become proficient in 21st century skills that aid youth to further develop themselves. As for the second program, it is aiming for flourishing the practical skills of our youth in order to easily engage them in the CSOs and the NGOs in the community, through series of trainings that focus on report writing, monitoring and evaluation, management of development and non-profit projects, this program targets fresh graduates and unemployed individuals in Jerusalem.
The main objective for this strategic partnership, is to foster the cooperation between both parties (Al-Quds University and Station -J), as the core beneficiary from this collaboration are Jerusalemite students, they will certainly benefit from all the trainings and workshops that have to be conducted in the upcoming period and help in building their capacities.
This MOU is signed all in an aim to support the joint vision of Al- Quds University and Station –J, and scale up the employment chances for youths in Jerusalem .
